Business Coach

I've worked for a while now with one of the world's leading business coaches and trust me when I say getting a coach or a mentor is essential.

There are many stories that account of people that are hugely successful, all relying on their mentor. Surely it can't be all coincidence?

Actually I know for sure that it is not a coincidence and I know that having a business mentor is essential to (proper) success, whether it be online or offline.

You've only got to watch the Ted Talk in this video to establish the importance.

So the message of the day is, get yourself a good business mentor or coach and work up a plan.

Catalogue Production

I've just finished a meeting in Covent Garden with two very professional and driven people.

Actually I was more than impressed with the vision and ideas they presented to me over dinner.

It all centres around the changing face of one of our most historic and often maligned industries, namely, the print industry.

Often the victim of technology, (I remember the print service industries that were dramatically affected, for the worse, at the introduction of the original Apple macs. Almost overnight the reproduction industry was obliterated).

The print industry needed to wake up and change, and to an extent, no actually there is no 'extent' - it really does need to wake up!

In a few years time, there will be no such thing as the print industry per se, but an industry that provides integrated solutions, of which a part (albeit a large part) of the campaign will involve print.

Anyway, Callimedia are the company that specialise in high level catalogue printing, but look at their site and you'll see they cover the whole printing services, direct mail, high quality campaigns sector.

Florist In Bromley

I was recently stuck in a meeting, and despite the fact that I promised my very significant other, Janine that  I would be home early to go out for something to eat.. I was not only late, the traffic was terrible.

You know, one of those bad traffic days when whatever you do.. you lose!

It was then that it occurred to me that perhaps the only way out of this pickle was to revert to the time-honoured tradition of buying her something, to ease the pain!

So I stopped off at Elliza Wade florists in Bromley (link to their site below because they saved my life).

Jan the owner was so helpful and together we came up with the perfect bouquet for the occasion (that ocassion being, oh my god, I'm in the dog-house and need to get out - and quick!)

So to cut a long story short.. Jan and her team were delightful. They helped me out and went the extra mile.

My suggestion.. buy flowers for your wife or husband.. not just when you're late.
My second suggestion. buy them from www.ellizawadeflowers.co.uk

Thanks!

Ice Blue Sky Content Marketing Agency

I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with Charlotte Graham-Cumming who together with Jeremy, runs Ice Blue Sky.

Charlotte is the Managing Director of the Agency and she is committed to help her clients and customers with their marketing strategies and helping to guide them to improving their marketing communications and ultimately to help them grow their businesses and their brand.

Ice Blue Sky are a truly innovative content production agency, they have genuine knowledge about their industry and specific expertise in the technology industry.

That said, they don't purely specialise in Technology, they have a huge knowledge in a plethora of industries, including Print, Supply Chain, NHS and Public sector as well as Professional Services.

The agency pride themselves on their ability to produce excellent and thought provoking work, and having seen examples from their portfolio, I can't disagree.

If traditional marketing isn't cutting the mustard, this content marketing agency could actually make you rethink about how you get new business.

It's true that pretty much the world and his wife can create content, but not everyone can provide the insight that Ice Blue Sky can, coupled with the fact that they are able to communicate that insight in a manner that is not just effective, but engaging as well - and to my mind that is the key!

Ice Blue Sky provide all types of creative, this includes digital print, design (infographics another speciality) copywiting, strategy, communications and the list goes on.

I know what a professional and friendly operation Charlotte has put together here, and I can't recommend speaking with her enough. If you are looking for a content creation marketing campaign, look no further!
