I've just finished a meeting in Covent Garden with two very professional and driven people.
Actually I was more than impressed with the vision and ideas they presented to me over dinner.
It all centres around the changing face of one of our most historic and often maligned industries, namely, the print industry.
Often the victim of technology, (I remember the print service industries that were dramatically affected, for the worse, at the introduction of the original Apple macs. Almost overnight the reproduction industry was obliterated).
The print industry needed to wake up and change, and to an extent, no actually there is no 'extent' - it really does need to wake up!
In a few years time, there will be no such thing as the print industry per se, but an industry that provides integrated solutions, of which a part (albeit a large part) of the campaign will involve print.
Anyway, Callimedia are the company that specialise in high level catalogue printing, but look at their site and you'll see they cover the whole printing services, direct mail, high quality campaigns sector.

Florist In Bromley
I was recently stuck in a meeting, and despite the fact that I promised my very significant other, Janine that I would be home early to go out for something to eat.. I was not only late, the traffic was terrible.
You know, one of those bad traffic days when whatever you do.. you lose!
It was then that it occurred to me that perhaps the only way out of this pickle was to revert to the time-honoured tradition of buying her something, to ease the pain!
So I stopped off at Elliza Wade florists in Bromley (link to their site below because they saved my life).
Jan the owner was so helpful and together we came up with the perfect bouquet for the occasion (that ocassion being, oh my god, I'm in the dog-house and need to get out - and quick!)
So to cut a long story short.. Jan and her team were delightful. They helped me out and went the extra mile.
My suggestion.. buy flowers for your wife or husband.. not just when you're late.
My second suggestion. buy them from www.ellizawadeflowers.co.uk
Thanks!
Darrell
